Deal Alerts

     

    WHERE Deal Alerts is the first-ever service to push preference and location-based coupons to your device when you want them.

    Say it’s early Monday morning (6:30am, in fact) and I’m commuting to work. I’m starving and want to find a place to eat, but I’m not familiar with the town I’m in. Not only can Deal Alerts help me find somewhere nearby, it will also give me a great deal there.

    Here’s how I used Deal Alerts to find Bagel Station this morning:

     

     

    Select category, time and day.

     

     

    • First, I downloaded and launched the WHERE application from my AT&T device.

    • Within the Coupons widget, I went to the preferences page to manage my alerts. First, I selected “Restaurants”, then “Mondays”, and finally “6:00am”. This set me up to receive offers in my area that were related to early morning food, and Bagel Station happened to have a deal.

    That’s it. WHERE will automatically update you with a text message every week at the specified time if there’s a deal available in the area. The combination of category and location-relevancy with day and time makes Deal Alerts incredibly useful. For once, you’ll actually want the coupons you receive.

    Here are some examples:

    • I want to know the best deal for happy hour drinks. Alert setting: “Restaurants and Bars on Fridays at 4:00pm”

    • I am headed to the mall to go shopping this weekend, why not use some coupons to save money? Alert setting: “Merchants and Retail on Saturdays at 1pm”

    • I need to find a restaurant for family dinner. Alert setting: “Restaurants on Sundays at 5:00pm”
