TXU Energy 2011 Turkey Trot – Houston, TX Galleria area (11/24/11)http://turkeytrot.shelteringarms.org/ For the past 19 years, the TXU Energy Turkey Trot benefiting Sheltering Arms Senior Services has become the largest Thanksgiving Day race and the third largest footrace in the Houston area. Thousands of people from all over the city, surrounding areas, and even visitors from out of town run or walk together for a great cause. From young children to older adults, many Houstonians have made the Trot a part of their families’ Thanksgiving holiday tradition. |

The 22nd Annual GE Run Thru the Woods is an annual charity event designed for all ages and levels of fitness. Proceeds benefit the South Montgomery County YMCA Partners Program, Operation Graduation, Conroe ISD AFJROTC, Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Education Outreach Program and Montgomery County Humane Society. In 2010, more than 5200 partcipants joined us and raised more than $100,000. |
