Why can’t I install WHERE on my SD card?

Due to backwards compatibility issues with older versions of the Android operating system, we’re unable to support this feature at present. We are working to come up with SD card support in the very near future.

How do I update my location?

Tap the address across the bottom of the WHERE home screen or the circular compass in the bottom right of the home screen.

How can I change the gas grade WHERE searches for?

On your WHERE home screen, long click (press and hold) the gas pump icon to change the gas grade.

Can I correct information about a business or restaurant?

Yes, click on the “Flag Venue Incorrect” button on the WHERE page for the business or restaurant you want to edit.

So how do you know where I am?

WHERE uses three different methods to locate you. First, we quickly find what cell tower you are connected to and set that as your location. Next, you can choose to turn on GPS to find a more precise location. If you prefer, you even have the third option to self report your location.
